    « A Girl, A Train, and Why I Love Being a Mom... | Main | Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving... »

I have been saying (to my girlfriends) and feeling (silently around said husband because, hey, who wants to give up a good martyr moment? Heh.) that EXACT same way for, oh, the last two years, three months and 23 days. I well remember you telling me after Molly was born, "Children are the Borg. You WILL be assimilated and resistance IS futile ... but the guys don't understand that." Truer words were never spoken, except by other moms.

And if you figure out what to do about it, please let me know. I'll pay you in massages for the rest of your life. Personally, I fully expect Stu to act and think like an adult and a partner. My expectations are not always met, but I do expect it. Which can, and does, lead to conflict. What kills me, however, is the OTHER WOMEN who tell me that I'm being bitchy and unrealistic for feeling and behaving this way.
