"On Writing" is one of the best books I have ever read, period.

I too love Uncle Stevie. His latest stuff has been dreck (Cell? GMAFB) but The Stand still thrills me. The first time I read it I was on vacation down the shore in Jersey and I spent the entire week reading it on the beach and when I finished? I read that sucker again, it was that good, and Salem's Lot renders me helpless around windows at night.

Enjoy losing yourself in the magical world or words.

I like Mr. King's early short stories best... the ones he wrote while he was desperate, hungry, and barely getting by in life.

    P.S. Hello, Stacy.

If you get the chance, pick up "Kings of Infinite Space"; it's "The Office", if Uncle Stevie had written it.

Oh, and hi - long time no comment.
